Whether your gift is singing or playing an instrument, there are many ways for you to be involved in the music ministries at Wyatt Park.

The Praise Team

 

The Praise Team provides music for our praise services Saturdays at 5:00PM and Sundays at 9:15. Our vocalists lead the singing, backed by a great rhythm section (guitars, drums, keyboards) and a horn section (trumpets, trombone, sax) that sets our team apart from most others. If upbeat praise music is your style and you'd like to explore becoming a member of the Praise Team, contact our Praise Worship Director, Mark Pennington at mark@wyattparkcc.org. The Praise Team rehearses Wednesdays at 6:30PM.


10:45 Music 

Our worship service at 10:45 defies labeling and the musical styles are varied. Sometimes our choir will present special music. Each week, a small group of vocalists leads our congregational singing. You never know exactly which musical instruments will be used on a given week, but it is often an instrument you may not think of as being associated with worship. Are you a musician, either vocal or instrumental? There's a place for you in the music ministry of our worship at 10:45. Wyatt Park Windz



Yes, it's spelled correctly. The Wyatt Park Windz is our concert band that provides music for special occasions. Made up of instrumentalists from within the congregation and the community, the band is under the direction of our  Worship Director, Darren Verbick. Special Services

 At different times during the year, our music ministry prepares special times of worship. It may be a Holy Week service before Easter or something special before Christmas. It may be with an orchestra, a concert band, or a driving rhythm section. Regardless, you will find opportunities at different times during the year to share your musical gifts for special services.
